Meet Kim Bordagaray
Hello! I’m Kim & my mission is to support you as you expand, grow and evolve through whatever life throws your way! Whether you are pregnant, navigating postpartum or fertility, rehabbing an injury, processing a diagnosis, struggling with stress, your mental health or grieving, I can hold space for you.
In both private sessions and group classes, I work to offer accessible and inclusive practices that help you cultivate your inner awareness, inner resource, intuition and autonomy. I place special emphasis on breathing mechanics, focused attention, and safe, purposeful movement. I am particularly passionate about pelvic floor health, nervous system regulation and discovering how yoga lives with us beyond our time on the mat. I feel strongly that you do not have to bend into amazing shapes or even touch your toes to practice yoga. All yoga requires is your curiosity, commitment, and faith in the process.
As a yoga therapist, I value getting to know each person I work with and collaborating to support your unique needs. I am not an expert, my relationship to these teachings is informed by my own lived experience, interests and teachers across many different lineages and specialities. My role is to come alongside you on your own exploration and share what I’ve learned through my own study and practice.

While I do not study under one particular lineage, I am guided and inspired by various yoga therapists and pioneers including Dr. Ananda Balayogi Bhavanani, Jivana Heyman, Leslie Howard, Dr. Richard Miller, Katie Allen, Dr. Amy Wheeler, Robert Birnberg, and others.
In 2024, I completed my Master’s in Yoga Studies with a concentration in Yoga Therapy, learning from a dynamic faculty and life-long practitioners including Dr. Lori Rubenstein Fazzio and Dr. Christopher Key Chapple. Prior to this deep study of the yoga tradition and it’s clinical application, my love and passion for the therapeutic use of yoga emerged under the mentorship of Kristin English & Katie Flinn, in Fresno, CA.
